My only con is that it still creases a bit during the day. I really think one pot will last me at least 2 years with everyday use. Eyeshadows stay put and don't get wiped off as you blend them out. Since it is a cream product it really helps powder eyeshadows stick to your lids. The color on the picture is a bit darker than in real life. It is only true for fair skinned girls as it will look pasty on dark skins.

The color blends with the color of my skin so one can't tell I am wearing anything. I have dark veins on my lids and this product is great at covering everyhing and creating a really flawless canvas for your eye makeup. It can also be applied with a brush but I prefere not to waste it and just use my finger. I hardly touch the product with my finger and I already have enough for the whole lid. Is spreads easily but you have to spread it straight away otherwise it will start drying in a thick layer. Even though Painterly can be used on its own as a natural eye shadow, I bought it specifically as a primer.įirstly its very creamy. With Urban Decay not being available in the country it is not easy to find something that really works well.

There are only a few shades in the permanent collection – most of them being neutrals and shimmers. The matte shades are great for evening out skin tone and providing a base for eyeshadow application. Overall, I love the color payoff and opacity.
This is perfect for quick makeup days because you can just apply this shade, a little eyeliner and mascara, and your eye look is complete. I really like this color but I feel like I would use it more on its own as opposed to as a base due to its satin finish. Groundwork is a medium, dusty brown with a satin finish. Check out Layin’ Low Paint Pot here! MAC Groundwork – This can even be worn alone for a fresh face, no-makeup makeup look. It won’t make your shadows pop as much as a lighter shade does but it evens out the eyelid provides a more neutral base for eyeshadow application. This shade gets a ton of love from Youtube and beauty bloggers. Painterly is a cool, ash brown neutral shade with a matte finish. Since they create a barrier between your skin and eyeshadow, they can increase the longevity of your eyeshadow and prevent the shadow from creasing or sliding off due to oiliness. They blend out beautifully and can be wore alone or with eyeshadow. They are a creamy, thick, and opaque cream which means great coverage when applying to the eye area.
